How long will it take to install my shed?

We take an average of 3 hours to install a basic shed. Some of our more custom sheds may take 2 days to complete.

How should the site be prepared prior to installation?

We can place the shed on a variety of bases (concrete, gravel, dirt or grass). If a concrete base is prepared, it must be square and level and cannot be bigger than the structure size you want placed on it. If however the site is prepared with gravel, or is just an area of grass, this spot should be fairly level. We use patio stones and shims to do the final leveling, but it is in the best interest of the customer to level the spot as much as possible.

How do you support the floor of the shed?

The floor is manufactured with treated floor joists at 2' centers. We use patio stones under the floor joists to keep the shed level. The larger the shed, the more patio stones we use. This provides maximum stability for the structure.

What is the shed constructed of?

All the board lumber used in our structures is eastern white pine. This includes the floor, walls and roof. Pine is the most commonly used wood for exterior construction due to it’s strength and durability. Pine weathers very well and is exceptionally long lasting. We do not use chipboard, press board or plywood.

What do you treat the exterior with?

Our prices include staining. We cover your shed with a coat of Dulux Woodpride 100% acrylic stain. We have been using this product since 2003 and truly believe in it’s quality and longevity.

Can you install the sheds anywhere?

We have lots of versatility with our construction method. We can easily get into most backyards or tight areas. A 3' gate or opening provides all the space we need to get to a site. We do however have to watch or overhead obstructions and obstacles on the ground.

How long do you have to wait to get a shed installed?

The average waiting period is eight weeks. This can be longer in the spring and fall, however we will do our best to meet your schedule.

Where do you deliver?

We are located north of Newmarket, Ontario and we deliver free of charge within 30 km's of our shop. If you live outside of this area, additional shipping fees of $125/50km apply.
